ELECTRONIC POWER GENERATOR

THE POWER TO BACK YOU UP

HOW IT WORKS

A “WATT” is an electrical term for power and the electrical appliances we use at home or in a business all require power according to their “WATT” rating. Some, such as power-saver globes require as little as 11 WATTS where as standard incandescent globes require either 60 or 100 WATTS. A hairdryer requires between 1200 and 2000 WATTS while a hot water geyser requires between 2500 and 3000 WATTS.

Any backup power source from a generator to an inverter will provide only as many “WATTS” as its rating. A 900-WATT unit can produce no more than 900 “WATTS”. Therefore the sum of the “WATTS” of the appliances you connect to a 900-WATT unit cannot total more than 900 WATTS. No power source will tolerate “WATTS” being drawn in excess of its rating and will either “trip” or burn out.

  1. The Electronic Generator is of a plug and play design – it is left plugged into a 220-volt supply to keep charged and wheeled out to use when power fails.

  2. It recharges automatically when mains supply restored.

  3. It uses a normal extension cord for the lights, TV, equipment, etc. that you need.

  4. The output depends on the wattage of the model.

For example:

YOU CAN DO WITHOUT A GEYSER - IF USED SPARINGLY, IT WILL KEEP WATER HOT FOR HOURS. REFRIGERATORS WILL ALSO, IF USED SPARINGLY, KEEP COLD FOR HOURS. DO WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONERS, KETTLES AND HAIRDRYERS FOR A WHILE UNTIL THE POWER RETURNS.

FOR THESE ITEMS WHICH DRAW HEAVY AMOUNTS OF ELECTRICITY, YOU NEED A GENERATOR SET
